The cottage provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy and the bathroom was a nice size. We particularly enjoyed the location, being close to Sconce and Devon Park, as well as The Castle. The secure garden was great for our dog, and we appreciated the warm sitting room. The property also provided helpful information for our stay.
The sofa bed was quite uncomfortable and there was a metal leg that we kept tripping over. We ended up having to put a newspaper in front of it to remind us of its presence.

Next door neighbor greets warmly. Enclosed dog-friendly garden. Park opposite. Great chippy nearby. Dog-friendly Blue Monkey pub and welcoming locals. Nearby Greene King pub with carvery. Good location close to town and amenities. Steep stairs, but 2 handrails. Warm welcome, heating on. Fully equipped kitchen, home away from home. Faultless property, great communication. Early check-in helped travel plans. Chris, the handover lady, was pleasant and helpful. Smooth and comfortable stay. Good location, 10-15 min walk to town. Above-average facilities provided.

The apartment was well-furnished and tastefully decorated, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. It was also conveniently located opposite a scenic park, providing a lovely view. The nearby shops, particularly the COOP, made it easy to find all the provisions we needed. The property manager, Christina, was friendly and helpful during our stay.
The parking situation was a bit difficult, although we were able to find a spot within a short distance each evening. The location of the apartment on a busy road, especially during peak times, can be noisy.

Enjoyed the lovely courtyard garden and views of the town. The small conservatory with a Smart TV and log-effect fire was a cozy touch. Free WiFi was a bonus.
The ironing facilities were clearly designed to challenge even the most patient of guests.

I recently stayed at a lovely cottage in Newark-on-Trent for a 6-day mini break. The location was fantastic, with the town centre just a short stroll away. There was a great fish and chips takeaway and a pub with delicious carvery nearby. The park across the road was perfect for leisurely walks, and the charming castle and gardens were a short walk away. The cottage itself was cozy and cute, with a beautiful garden. The heating was on when we arrived, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It truly felt like a home away from home.

The location of the accommodation was great, with a lovely park right across the street. It offered a convenient place to walk the dog and enjoy the outdoors. the town of Newark had plenty of shops, restaurants, and historic buildings to explore. The communication with the owner was also very good, ensuring a smooth experience.
The check-in time was quite late at 4pm, which may not be ideal for those looking to settle in earlier.
